Unit Description

In this unit, students will investigate the relationship between the ‘Ōma’o (Hawaiian thrush) and the‘ōlapa tree. Students will discover how the Ōma’o assists the‘ōlapa in its reproductive cycle and explore how the ‘Ōma’o plays an important role in re-establishing native understory plants.
